The Smartstream 1.5L GDI engine is standard in the Luxury trim of the 2025 Hyundai Elantra, but it is also paired with a 32 kW electric motor with a 1.32 kWh lithium-ion battery in the hybrid option available in the Luxury trim. It gets a combined horsepower of 139 and 195 lb-ft of torque, which means it matches the N Line 1.6L Turbocharged GDI engine for torque.
