The 2026 Honda Civic, in comparison, comes standard with a 2.0 L inline 4-cylinder engine that gets 150 horsepower and 133 lb-ft of torque. For more horsepower, you have to opt for the hybrid system, which means if you’re looking for a gas-only option, the 2026 Hyundai Elantra is the better choice for performance.
