Hyundai has reconceptualized the 2026 Palisade into a luxurious family vehicle that’s perfect for any situation. The new model lineup will have a larger and premium interior and new technologies, as well as new safety features. New Safety Features
The new 2026 Hyundai Palisade will have access to the Advanced Driver Assist Systems, a cluster of technologies that use sensors and monitors to improve safety. Features include:
- Blind Spot Collision Warning: This feature will help drivers avoid hitting a vehicle on its rear when making a lane change. If a risk arises, a warning will appear. If the risk comes from leaving a parallel parking spot, the system can automatically apply emergency brakes.
- Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist: The 2026 Palisade will notify the driver with a warning if it detects objects in front of it. The system can apply emergency brakes if the driver does not take action.
- Safe Exit Assist: This feature will help anyone leaving the 2026 Palisade from colliding with an approaching vehicle. If a vehicle is detected, the system will present an audible warning. Alternatively, the electronic child lock can also be deployed.
New Hybrid Option
A hybrid option will be available to purchase for the first time in the Hyundai Palisade lineup. The model will feature a 2.5 L turbocharged in-line four-cylinder engine and two electric motors to deliver a combined horsepower of 329. One of the special features of the hybrid version includes Stay Mode. This aspect will monitor the vehicle’s battery system when it’s parked to allow for extended use of the infotainment system and HVAC functions.
XRT PRO
The XRT PRO is perfect for off-roading. The new trim under the 2026 Hyundai Palisade lineup has the capable hardware and a unique exterior to boot. This includes a different front with a lower grille design and red recovery hooks for towing. The XRT PRO will also include:
- Mud, Sand and Snow terrain modes
- Downhill brake control
- All-terrain 255/60R18 tires
Comfortable Seating with New Tech
The 2026 Hyundai Palisade will feature Relaxation Seats in the first and second rows. The seats will recline further and offer upper-leg support – making it a perfect addition for family roadtrips. The comfort continues with heating for the third row of seats. The second row will have both heating and ventilation. Hyundai’s 2026 Palisade will have available rear seat articulation functions that can be controlled from the driver’s seat or cargo area – making it easier to maneuver seating for added cargo.
Speaking of rows, each one has access to a 100-watt USB-C port for charging. The centre console has a 15-watt charging pad, ideal for charging devices to use the integrated Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
